Why Noura?

A specialized education accelerator

Noura is not a general-purpose accelerator. Its focus is specifically on education and education technology.

1

Evaluation goes beyond technology and revenue model

That specialization means evaluation at Noura isn't limited to technology or revenue model. The educational problem, student experience, school need, pilot feasibility, and go-to-market path for the education market are also part of the process.

2

Capital is only part of the path

At Noura, capital is only part of the path. Access to real schools and users, product development capacity, specialized mentoring, and an investment network work together to turn an educational idea into a usable product, and an education product into a growable business.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a team to apply?

No. Individuals can apply independently — a team is not required to take part in this call.

Do I need a product or prototype?

No. A clear, buildable idea is enough to apply. Applications are evaluated according to their maturity level.

Are only software products accepted?

No. Digital products, education services, content, games, physical tools, school solutions, education technology, and other ideas and products related to Noura's value chain can all apply.

Is the program online?

No. The program runs in person in Tehran, and selected applicants must be able to take part effectively in person.

Does everyone accepted receive 10 billion IRR in capital?

No. 8 ideas, products, or teams enter pre-acceleration, and 4 of them are then selected to enter acceleration and investment negotiations. The investment amount is set per case, up to a ceiling of 10 billion IRR.

What stake does Noura take?

At the investment stage, Noura's stake is set between 15 and 25 percent depending on each idea's, product's, or team's circumstances.

How does access to schools work?

Selected applicants, depending on the nature of their solution and product readiness, can use Noura's school network for user research, problem validation, or running a pilot.

What if my idea or product falls outside the announced categories?

If your idea or product has a clear connection to education and Noura's value chain, you can still apply and it will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

What's the difference between pre-acceleration and acceleration?

Pre-acceleration focuses on validating the problem and user, developing the solution, and preparing a prototype, with 8 ideas, products, or teams taking part. Acceleration — with 4 entrants — focuses on product development, running a pilot across the school network, establishing the business model, and cash investment.

When is the result of each stage announced?

The result of initial screening is announced within 7 business days at most, and results for other stages follow the call's calendar and are announced to applicants through Noura's official channels.

How is the capital paid out?

Capital is not paid out in a lump sum; it's released in tranches tied to agreed milestones, after the legal entity and equity structure are formed or completed.

Have an idea or product ready to grow?

If you have a solution in mind for a real problem in education, or you've already built an education product, turn this opportunity into a path to build, test, and grow it.
